PhD. Mechanical Engineering
The PhD programme of the normally run for a minimum of three years and a maximum of five years for regular students. The programme leads to the award of a PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering with specialty in either Production Engineering or Energy Studies.

The duration of study for a full-time Ph.D. is a minimum of three years and a maximum of five years. For a part-time Ph.D., a minimum period of five years is required and a maximum of seven years.
Course Credit Requirements
Candidates are expected to take some courses as may be determined by the Departmental postgraduate studies committee and the candidates supervisory committee.
